We are currently seeking an energetic and experienced Activity Assistant to join our team!

Schedule: Full Time - Tuesday-Saturday 9:30am-5:30pm

Salary: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour - based on experience

Activities Assistant Responsibilities include: 

• Works with Activity Director to deliver creative and exciting Resident activities meeting individual needs and interests within the community 

• Under the direction of the Director of Activities, assist with orienting all residents to activity programs. 

• Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and make decisions. Must be a proven professional with compassion, integrity, and honesty. 

• The ability to work under pressure, resolve conflict, prioritize tasks, and follow through with creative ideas. 

• Have a keen ability to foster teamwork with co-workers, show initiative in overcoming obstacles, helping others beyond the job responsibilities, and creating positive impact on co-workers, residents, and visitors. 

Activity Assistant Education and Experience:

• Must hold a valid NYS driver's license, required

• High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent, required 

• Minimum 3 years experience in Senior Assisted Living, preferred
