Join our team at Allendale Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center as an Activities Aide.

Proudly supported by Marquis Health Consulting Services

Full-time and Part-time opportunity available

Full-time: 9 AM- 5PM Weekdays (every other weekend)
Part-time: Sundays and Mondays 9 AM- 5 PM

$15.92-$22 an hour (all inclusive)

Responsibilities of Activities Aide:

  • Facilitating daily, weekly and monthly events to encourage socialization and recreation for facility residents

  • Observing residents throughout the event and assisting with coloring, crafts, and other needs

  • Reporting medical concerns to supervisors if needed

  • Crafting, coloring, decorating, playing games, etc.

Qualifications for Activities Aide:

  • Prior activities experience in a nursing home with dementia experience preferred but not required. We are willing to train!

  • Must be energetic and enthusiastic!

  • An ability to demonstrate the knowledge and skill necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.

  • High School Diploma or GED.
