We're looking for a Per Diem Activities & Events Coordinator to help plan and lead meaningful programs that bring people together in our flagship Austin clinic. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys interacting with participants, thinking creatively, and ensuring every activity is welcoming, well-organized, and enjoyable.

Position Summary
The Activities & Events Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, facilitating, and evaluating a variety of participant activities, recreational programs, and special events. This role is actively involved in every stage of programming-from preparation and setup to leading activities and post-event cleanup.
Success in this position requires creativity, flexibility, strong organizational skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for engaging with participants while delivering exceptional experiences.
What You'll Do
  • Plan, organize, and facilitate engaging participant activities, events, and special programs
  • Lead and actively participate in activities, encouraging involvement and creating a welcoming atmosphere
  • Prepare activity materials, supplies, schedules, and event spaces in advance
  • Set up and break down activity spaces while ensuring all materials are organized and available
  • Coordinate day-of event logistics and provide hands-on support throughout activities
  • Track attendance, participation, and maintain accurate activity documentation
  • Monitor inventory and assist with ordering or organizing program supplies
  • Communicate professionally with participants, staff, and other stakeholders
  • Provide administrative support including filing, scanning, copying, data entry, and correspondence as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and a participant-centered approach
  • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in activities coordination, recreation, event support, customer service, or a related field preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer systems

Work Schedule
