Friendship Village is seeking a compassionate and energetic individualย to join our Resident Services team as a Life Enrichment Assistant Manager that is responsible for planning, coordinating and directing a variety of activities and programming that meet the spiritual, emotional, intellectual, vocational, social, physical and environmental needs of the independent living residents, and for managing the day-to-day smart technology supports used for resident communicationsย Thisย full-time position with a startingย pay ofย $19.00 per hour. Here's a snapshot of what you'll be doing each day as a Life Enrichment Assistant Manager:

  • Works with the Life Enrichment Manager to develop, plan, coordinate and direct multiple programs and events
  • Develops and maintains relationships with lecturers, community resources, instructors, performers and volunteers who can provide programming to the residents.
  • Assists in the oversight and operation of community access tools and other technology-driven communication platforms that support IL Life Enrichment resident communications (Go Icon, Jotform, Facebook, etc.).

  • College degree in relevant area preferred (social work, geriatric studies, family studies, recreational therapy, event planning)
  • Two years of experience in geriatrics, recreation, or social administration, or related degree.
  • Highly proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer skills with a demonstrable aptitude for smart devices (Amazon Echo highly preferred)..
