About Us

Overview

The Vibrant Living Director at a Brightview community serves as a champion and coach to our team of associates and residents with an immediate and sustained goal of shaping and fostering a spirit of vibrant living in the community. In fact, this position is so focused on motivating, encouraging and ensuring that all of our residents live their fullest lives possible, that it officially carries the title of Vibrant Living Director.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will provide leadership and direction to all associates with particular focus on guaranteeing the delivery of high quality and vibrant social, physical, educational and spiritual programs for all residents.

You will also monitor trends and new developments in senior living and related fields and will support the development and execution of robust, varied, and meaningful programs. In addition, you will develop and share strategies and best practices, serve as a project manager for company-wide initiatives and wellness initiatives, and will be charged with developing and implementing efficient strategies and tools to measure resident participation and satisfaction. This is a critical role within the Brightview community leadership team, and allows for the opportunity to create a dramatic and positive impact on our residents' ability to live an active, vibrant life!

Salary Range
USD $70,000.00 - USD $80,000.00 /Yr.

The salary range mentioned above reflects the potential pay for this role and does not include bonuses or additional incentives (if applicable), nor does it include the value of our benefit program. Offers will consider factors like experience, qualifications, location, community size (if relevant), certifications/training, etc. Brightview regularly reviews and adjusts compensation ranges.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in a field that lends itself to the support of vibrant living in a senior environment; marketing, education or geriatrics preferred.
  • Minimum of seven years of experience in a high energy, public role, three of which are in a leadership/supervisory capacity; preferred experience includes event or activities planning, sales, and/or training.
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and influence others.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to connect and communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
  • Excellent written communication skills including proper grammar and professional writing.
  • Ability to apply logic, reasoning and creative thinking to solve nebulous or complex problems and challenges.
  • Experience working with in a multi-site environment.
  • Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet based applications such as web conferencing.
  • Ability to manage projects and to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of senior living regulations and safety considerations for working with seniors.
  • Strong customer orientation to older adults.
  • Positive attitude, enthusiasm and energy.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
