Position Summary: Activities CNA

As an Activities Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents. You?ll support engaging programs that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being in a supportive and mission-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing activity programs for residents
  • Support the daily operations of the Activities Department
  • Help deliver engaging activities that meet the individual needs and interests of residents
  • Ensure programs align with all federal, state, and local regulations
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for residents

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in accordance with state regulations
  • Previous long-term care/skilled nursing experience preferred; activities experience in a recreational therapy setting will also be considered
  • Currenty CTRC certification preferred
  • Compassion for working with veteran populations and elderly residents
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
