Job Type: Full-Time Work Location: Remote Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Staff Accountant to join our team in a fully remote position. The Staff Accountant will support day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, assist with reconciliations, and help prepare financial reports. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while communicating effectively with a remote team. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records. Record and review daily financial transactions. Prepare bank and account reconciliations. Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities. Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting. Review invoices, receipts, expenses, and other financial documentation. Help maintain the general ledger and supporting schedules. Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as needed. Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information. Work collaboratively with management and other departments in a remote environment. Perform other accounting duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. Previous accounting experience preferred. Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Strong Microsoft Excel and computer skills. Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or similar platforms is a plus. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
