Job Opportunity: Activities Assistant (Part-Time)

Location: Cranberry Place – Cranberry Twp., PA Schedule: Part-Time (24 hours per week) | Requirement: Every other weekend

About the Role

Are you passionate about bringing joy and purpose to the lives of seniors? Cranberry Place is looking for a creative, high-energy Activities Assistant to join our team. In this role, you won't just be planning "activities"—you’ll be creating experiences that keep our residents socially connected, mentally sharp, and physically active.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan & Lead: Develop and implement a diverse monthly calendar of activities including music, crafts, games, and social outings.

  • Engage: Foster a welcoming environment by encouraging resident participation and building one-on-one relationships.

  • Coordinate: Organize special events, holiday celebrations, and community volunteer programs.

  • Document: Maintain accurate records of resident participation and progress to ensure we are meeting their social and emotional goals.

  • Collaborate: Work closely with the clinical and dining teams to integrate enrichment into the daily lives of our residents.

Qualifications
  • Experience: Previous experience in life enrichment, activities, or recreation therapy (preferably in a Senior Living, SNF, or ALF setting) is a plus.
