Occupational Therapist Quebec, Canada CONTRACT : Fixed-term or permanent contract depending on needs – Variable hours (day/evening/weekend depending on establishment and clientele) About AsiccMed - AsiccSanté Mobile: AsiccMed - AsiccSanté Mobile is dedicated to improving people's independence and quality of life. We offer occupational therapy services at home and in partner facilities, with a humane and interdisciplinary approach centered on the patient and their family. Your tasks include, among other things: Assess patients' functional, cognitive and social abilities in relation to their activities of daily living. Design and implement personalized rehabilitation programs to promote independence. Recommend, adapt and train patients and their loved ones in the use of technical aids, orthoses or adapted equipment. Support social, academic or professional reintegration according to the patient's needs. Collaborate with physiotherapists, physicians, social workers and other stakeholders for a comprehensive care plan. Document and maintain clinical records in accordance with professional standards. Provide education and prevention to families and healthcare teams. Perform all other related tasks related to rehabilitation and functional support. Profile sought: Ability to perform detailed assessment and clinical analysis. Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team. Excellent communication skills with patients, families and colleagues. Adaptability and sense of innovation in the search for solutions. Organization, rigor and sense of responsibility. Empathy, active listening and focus on the patient's well-being. Minimum requirements (Quebec – legal and normative): Hold a master's degree in occupational therapy recognized by an accredited university. Be a member in good standing of the Order of Occupational Therapists of Quebec (OEQ). Experience in a clinical setting (home, CHSLD, hospital, rehabilitation) is an asset. Fluency in spoken and written French (English is an asset). Criminal background check (mandatory). Valid CPR and First Aid card.
