On-site in Quantico, VA

Our client seeks an experienced Active Directory Administrator IV to support a large-scale enterprise environment with over 265,000 user accounts and 140,000 computer accounts across multiple Active Directory domains. The role provides Tier III support for critical directory services and infrastructure technologies in a highly secure environment.

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen with an active Top Secret clearance. This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $40.00 to $45.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:
  • Provide Tier III support for Active Directory and related infrastructure technologies.
  • Maintain the health, availability, and performance of Active Directory and DNS services.
  • Resolve escalated support tickets and coordinate with Tier II and engineering teams.
  • Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and directory services technologies.
  • Support change management activities, including submitting and implementing approved changes.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively address issues impacting service availability.
  • Implement technical solutions to operational requirements using existing and emerging technologies.
  • Support Active Directory projects, upgrades, migrations, and ongoing improvements.
  • Conduct DISA STIG analysis and remediation activities.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and support guides.
Experience Requirements:
  • 7+ years of Active Directory administration experience.
  • Strong experience with Active Directory 2019/2022.
  • Thorough knowledge of Windows Server 2019/2022.
  • Experience managing DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and enterprise directory services.
  • PowerShell scripting experience for Active Directory administration and troubleshooting.
  • VMware virtualization experience.
  • Experience with firewall administration, certificates, and DMZ environments.
  • Experience troubleshooting enterprise server performance and infrastructure issues.
  • Professional Microsoft certification (MCSA, MCSE, or Microsoft Windows Server Hybrid Administrator).
  • DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level III certification (CISSP, CASP+, GCIH, GCED, CCNP Security, etc.).
  • Active Top Secret clearance required.
