What are Actuaries?

Actuaries are professionals who use mathematics, statistics, and financial theory to analyze and manage risk in insurance, finance, and other industries. They help organizations make informed decisions by assessing the likelihood and financial impact of future events, such as accidents, illnesses, or natural disasters. Actuaries play a crucial role in designing insurance policies, pension plans, and other financial strategies to ensure long-term stability and profitability. Their work often involves creating complex models, interpreting data, and communicating findings to stakeholders.
