Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and capable ­Program Manager. The Program Manager is responsible for development, implementation, coordination, and tracking of various deliverables related to management services. This will involve collaborative and influential leadership with co-management stakeholders to ensure contract adherence and success. The Program Manager will partner with the GCBS Management Services Team, GCBS Quality Team, GCBS Operations Team, and GCBS Clinical and Medical Directors to effectively provide management services at the partnership site in the areas of operations, clinical standards, marketing, education, training, research, strategy, and planning.

To succeed in this role, the Program Manager will exhibit exceptional customer service abilities to align with Goodman Campbell’s dedication to a positive patient experience. Outstanding employees in this role will demonstrate detailed, accurate and efficient program development and management, while striving to deliver the highest level of patient service. The Program Manager is a pivotal component of the Management Services team, requiring active communication and respectful collaboration with peers and partnership stakeholders. 


Job Duties

  • Manage the development, implementation, and organization of services related to neurosurgical programming.
  • Own and manage neurosurgery calendaring and committee support at co-management site.
  • Lead the charter planning and development of committees formed to further the work of management services in the areas of education, training, and operational effectiveness.
  • Analyze varied and relevant operational trends, working with operational directors and managers to develop measurable action plans toward process improvement.
  • Convene stakeholders and facilitate change processes outlined in action plans.
  • Manage definition and implementation of project scope, plan, goals, timeline, tasks, quality and resources for assigned service deliverables.
  • Interface with GCBS providers, as well as quality, education, and research supports, toward the successful completion of contracted services and deliverables.
  • Manage the integration of internal GCBS educational and operational initiatives into partner operations and programming.
  • Effectively communicate relevant program information to physician partners and/or leadership team.
  • Serve on internal committees and act as a GCBS representative to external organizations and agencies as directed.
  • Demonstrate understanding and commitment to GCBS Mission and Values.
  • Primarily remote work assignment with frequent and consistent travel to multiple clinic and hospital sites, as well as occasional travel out of state. 
  • Other related duties and projects as assigned.

Educational and Experience Required

Education: Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in management and program development.

Preferred Experience: 3-5years experience in healthcare leadership or equivalent experience in a professional position.
