Job description

Armed ACT 235 Certified Security Officer

Armed Security Officer

Location: Enola, PA

Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, 8:15 AM – Close (between 4:30 PM and 5:30 PM; must remain on site until final employee/customer leaves the building)

Pay: $23.00 per hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a professional and dependable Armed Security Officer to provide security services at a public-facing facility in Enola, PA. This location is open to the public, and officers must maintain a strong security presence while delivering excellent customer service.

Safety is our #1 priority. The selected candidate must always conduct themselves in a professional manner and ensure the safety of staff, visitors, and property at all times.

Requirements
  • Current ACT 235 Certification
  • Valid License to Carry a Firearm
  • Personal firearm
  • Duty belt and appropriate armed gear
  • Reliable transportation
  • Prior armed security experience required
  • Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
  • Must consistently prioritize safety above all else
Responsibilities
  • Maintain a visible and professional armed presence
  • Monitor facility access and activity
  • Respond to incidents and emergencies as needed
  • Provide assistance and direction to staff and visitors
  • Remain on site until the last employee/customer has exited the building
  • Complete required reports and documentation accurately
  • Uphold safety protocols and de-escalation practices
