VACANCY DESCRIPTION: Impact Christian Schools (ICS) is seeking candidates to substitute teach. ICS seeks enthusiastic, qualified, and creative Christian substitute teachers committed to growing students' interest in and skills using a pre-established curriculum. The ideal candidates will also prayerfully help students learn attitudes, skills, and subject matter that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible Christians to the praise and glory of God.
Abundant Life Christian School (ALCS) was founded in 1978 as a community Christian school, with its first graduating class in 1985. ALCS was specifically organized to offer students academic excellence in a Christ-focused context. ALCS offers grades Kindergarten through 12th grade. [4901 E Buckeye Rd, Madison, WI, 53716]
Community Christian School (CCS) was founded in 2010 by a group of families who desired to have their children well-educated in a non-denominational Christian setting. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • The teacher shall be a mature, sincere Christ-follower, college graduate, certified or certifiable, who feels called by God to the teaching profession.
  • Must hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

PREFERRED/DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • ACSI Certified Teacher
  • State of Wisconsin certified teacher or substitute teacher.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
  • New Substitute Teachers: $130.00 per day (New substitute teachers are those who have worked fifteen (15) or fewer teaching assignments at HPCS)
  • Experienced Substitute Teachers: $150.00 per day (Experienced substitute teachers are those who have worked more than fifteen (15) teaching assignments at HPCS)
  • Retired Substitutes: $180.00 per day (Those who have worked at an Impact Christian School for a minimum of ten years and are officially retired)
  • Support Staff Substitutes: $12.50 per hour (Non-teaching substitute assignments)
