Description

ACS Group is currently hiring a Crater for our Shipping Department at our New Berlin, WI location. Business is booming and we are in need of people that are looking for a stable, diverse and rewarding environment.

The Crater is responsible for packaging finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling) per shipping requirements. A successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Stage finished product for loading
  • Load finished product onto truck
  • Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Crating material for shipping
  • Use pneumatic tools (nail guns, saws, staple guns, etc.)
  • Build skids from scratch
  • Place product on skids and secure for shipping
  • Build crates for international and domestic shipments
  • Operate forklift
  • Unload and put away supplies (lumber, pallets, banding, etc.)
  • Use foam machine
  • Use pallet crusher and pallet jacks
  • Contributes to a positive work environment
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent and/or 1+ years of related experience
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required
  • Ability to drive a forklift and obtain a forklift certification
  • Well organized, attention to detail, ability to multi-task
  • Ability to use hand and/or power tools
