Responsibilities
  • Serve as a functional role model for leadership for the Content Acquisitions Legal team
  • Develop a keen understanding of Tubiโ€™s business and the evolving streaming landscapes
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, legal colleagues, and Tubi GC to develop positions on legal issues
  • Actively participate in developing and implementing processโ€‘related tasks for efficiencies
  • Work to establish best practices and identify practical solutions for content negotiations
  • Build trust and drive strong relationships with internal stakeholders, partners, and teams
Requirements
  • 15+ yearsโ€™ legal experience between an established law firm and an entertainment, media, advertising and/or technology company
  • 5+ yearsโ€™ experience managing, coaching and developing a team of highโ€‘performing attorneys
  • Experience negotiating and drafting content acquisition and distribution agreements
  • Understanding of digital rights management issues
  • Excellent negotiator with exceptional relationship management skills
  • Strong drafting skills and demonstrated ability to balance necessary legal protections with practical business needs
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team in a fastโ€‘paced, dynamic and creative environment
  • Strong executive presence and an energetic team leader who coaches and supports a team effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written
  • JD received from an ABAโ€‘accredited U.S. law school
  • Admission to the state bar in at least one U.S. state
