Finance & Restructuring Associate Attorney

Minneapolis, MN | Hybrid
Salary: $250,000 - $365,000+

A nationally recognized Am Law 100 firm is seeking a Finance & Restructuring Associate Attorney to join its growing Minneapolis office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in working on sophisticated corporate finance, private credit, leveraged finance, and restructuring transactions within a highly respected national finance practice.

Qualifications
  • J.D. from an accredited law school

  • Active Minnesota bar admission or ability to become admitted in Minnesota

  • Approximately 3-5 years of corporate finance experience

  • Experience with leveraged finance, asset-based lending, sponsor finance, private credit, or restructuring transactions preferred

  • Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills

  • Excellent academic credentials

What You'll Do
  • Represent lenders, borrowers, sponsors, and investors in complex finance transactions

  • Draft and negotiate credit agreements, loan documents, and related transaction documents

  • Advise clients on leveraged finance, asset-based lending, and private credit matters

  • Handle sponsor finance, acquisition financings, and direct lending transactions

  • Assist with workout, restructuring, and special situations matters

  • Work directly with clients and senior attorneys on sophisticated transactions
