Job description

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will develop the enterprise-wide recruitment marketing strategy, manage the company’s full-cycle recruiting process, and help ensure the organization attracts, hires, and retains top talent while delivering a positive candidate experience.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with hiring managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings and develop effective recruiting strategies.
  • Develops recruiting processes for site managers to use at the local levels. Ensures the company’s recruiting channels provide a diverse applicant pool.
  • Creates job postings and monitors posting activity to ensure hiring managers are timely in reviewing candidates and progressing open positions through the recruiting process.
  • Tracks and measures recruitment metrics: time-to-fill, applicant volume and applicant source effectiveness.
  • Recruits through multiple channels such as careers website, employee referrals, on-site recruiting and other sources, working with managers to find the best candidates for positions that require specific skillsets. 
  • Supports employer branding and recruitment marketing efforts across job boards, social media, career events, and other recruiting channels.
  • Participates in the company’s university and campus recruitment efforts and supports the internship program.
  • Oversees hiring practices for field locations to ensure compliance with EEO and employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Supports the HR team with conducting exit interviews and ensures adherence to exit protocols.  

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with multi-channel recruiting, social media strategies, professional networks and employer branding.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with a proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Must act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality, and appropriately handle private/sensitive information.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and strong capabilities with Excel.
  • Comfortable learning new technical systems as needed.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in talent acquisition and recruitment is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
  • Recruiting experience in organizations with multiple facilities or locations.
