** JOB OVERVIEW:** The front desk agent will handle all front of the house duties at the desk of our main entrance. They will be the “face” of the luxury condominium for all residents and will be responsible for the first impression. A customer-oriented approach is essential. The goal is to make residents and visitors feel comfortable and valued while on our premises. Resident and guest interaction will be routine in-person and on the phone to assist the residents as well as check-in guests to the property.

** REPORTS TO:** Director of Residences

** SUPERVISES** : N/A

** WORK ENVIRONMENT:** All areas of the Estates and surrounding property.

Job involves working:

  • Under variable noise levels.
  • Standing for long periods of time

** KEY RELATIONSHIPS:**

Internal: All Estates Staff.

External: Residents and residents’ visitors, Police Department, Fire Department, vendors and contractors.

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential:

  1. Criminal-free record.
  2. High school graduate.
  3. Fluency in English both verbal and non-verbal.
  4. Provide legible communication and directions.
  5. Computer literate.
  6. Ability to:
  • Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy.
  • Prioritize, organize and follow up.
  • Be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment.
  • Follow directions thoroughly.
  • Understand visitor, and resident’s service needs.
  • Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
  • Work with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident, and departmental information and pertinent resort data.
  • Work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Desirable:

  1. 2 years of experience.
  2. Experience with computers.
  3. Ability to input and access information in the property management system computers.
  4. Experience in Hospitality Industry in similar position.
  5. Previous guest and residents relations training.
  6. Certification of previous training in computers.
  7. Certification of previous training in alcohol awareness program.
  8. Knowledge of local laws, investigative methods and fire safety.
  9. Certification in CPR and first aid.
  10. Valid driver’s license.
  11. Excellent driving record.
PHYSICAL ABILITIES Essential:
  1. Exert physical effort in transporting 35-40 pounds.
  2. Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas.
  3. Reach 2 feet.
  4. Remain in stationary position for 8 hours throughout work shift.
  5. Satisfactorily communicate with guest and residents, management and co-workers to their understanding.
