We are seeking an Application Engineer, North-East USA - Consultant Liaison.
The team you will join
The Application team provides operational support to our network of partners and end-users to guarantee their projects' success at every stage through a premium customer experience. They provide sound system design support to venues, system engineers, audio consultants, and architects using our proprietary software: Soundvision.
Being part of the "Vertical Application" team, you will be dedicated to consulting firm support activities.
What you will contribute to
  • Lead the implementation of a consultant-driven fixed installation growth strategy in the AMERICAS market
  • Represent the L-ACOUSTICS brand, its value and corporate culture on a senior level and act as an ambassador
  • Provide sound design assistance, technical support, workshops, and demos to the consultant community
  • Maintain and develop relationships with key consultants and design engineers in the Performing Arts Center and Theatre market
  • Attend tradeshows and targeted conferences, provide technology and product presentations
  • Work collaboratively with Regional Application , Regional Sales, Global Vertical BD, Marketing & Communication teams to ensure brand awareness & adoption
  • Support the implementation of key performance metrics to measure market activities. Process relevant data and report and translate it into tangible strategies that drive global sales and lead to achievement of the department's objectives.

What you will need to be successful
  • 8+ years of work experience in our industry, preferably as consultant or similar role at other manufacturer
  • In-depth knowledge of the fixed Installation market and leading professional sound design consulting firms
  • Ability to communicate with stakeholders in the consultant community
  • Strong ability to work structured and self-contained
  • Working knowledge of L-Acoustics systems and technologies
  • Working outside of normal company hours for project support, tradeshows and client relationship development
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%
  • Profound knowledge of design and acoustic simulation tools such as Soundvision, EASE, Sketchup, Autocad, Revit
