What Sets You Up for Success:
  • Education & Experience: Four-year college degree, or two+ years’ residential mortgage origination experience.
  • Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of loan products including Conventional, FHA, VA, RHS, and PHFA.
  • Proven Track Record: Ability to consistently generate referral business and meet annual production goals.
  • Compliance: Must hold (or be able to obtain) a valid registration ID with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
  • Leadership: Two+ years of supervisory or management experience preferred; ability to mentor and support assistants or processors.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal, presentation, and public speaking abilities; intermediate Microsoft Office skills; and sharp attention to detail.
  • Pay Rate: This position is commission + draw, but typically earns around $110,000 annual. Top earners can be over $200,000 annual.
What You’ll Do:

As a Mortgage Loan Officer, you’ll own your production goals while representing Traditions Mortgage across the community. Your focus will be on building relationships, generating loan volume, and ensuring a best-in-class experience for clients and referral partners.

  • Develop and maintain referral networks with realtors, attorneys, accountants, and other centers of influence.
  • Drive business growth through participation in open houses, homebuyer seminars, and community events.
  • Generate loan applications using point-of-sale technology, while guiding customers through the mortgage process.
  • Prequalify applicants, analyze credit, and recommend the best loan programs to meet client needs.
  • Collaborate with processors, underwriters, and closers to ensure timely settlements.
  • Champion Traditions Mortgage by delivering exceptional customer service and representing our values in the community.
