Position OverviewFormation Operator assures correct acid level and conduct a visual inspection for cosmetic defects.Areas of FocusFormation Operator complies with all safety requirements and proper use of PPE. Additionally, Formation Operator understands & practices the Quality policy day to day.Responsibilities Level IPlace caps onto batteries according to battery typePerform the proper function of stacking on / off from conveyorsIdentify all defects prior to filling with acid (1st fill)Analyze the correct direction of the batteries during off bearing. (Understand correct polarity of batteries)Identify the correct cable (jumpers) to be placed on specific types of batteriesDemonstrate proper use of table lift during off bearingEnsure correct marking on the battery rack to aid Circuit TenderDisplay correct use of PPEPerform general housekeepingMeets all quality requirements and standardsMeets all production requirementsBasic QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent6 months - 1-year machine operator experienceStand-up Lift / Forklift CertificationBasic computer skillsRead and understand basic EnglishPerform basic math functions (add, subtract, multiply, divide)Experience in an assembly/production environment
