Job description

Description:

Quest CE is seeking a high-impact Sales Manager to lead our B2B sales team across the evolving landscape of compliance training, regulatory technology, and SaaS. This role is ideal for a proven sales executive who excels in consultative, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and is passionate about building and leading high-performing teams that consistently deliver strong business outcomes.

The Sales Manager is a demonstrated top producer who understands what high performance looks like and can coach others to operate at that standard. The ideal candidate blends strategic thinking with hands-on mentorship, using clear process, accountability, and coaching to drive individual growth and overall team success.

General Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support and lead the Sales Team in achieving revenue goals, holding team members accountable to performance expectations and results
  • Advise the Sales Team on deal strategy, including structuring proposals, navigating complex buying groups, and positioning Quest CE competitively to win high-value opportunities
  • Partner with leadership to establish annual sales goals, quotas, and territory plans
  • Define, track, and manage clear KPIs and performance benchmarks, conducting regular performance reviews and delivering actionable feedback to strengthen both individual and team performance
  • Coach and mentor Sales Executives to become consistent, independent, high-performing contributors
  • Develop and execute sales strategies that drive pipeline growth and new customer acquisition
  • Prepare and present forecasting models, pipeline reports, and performance analyses for leadership
  • Represent Quest CE at select industry conferences and events (typically 3โ€“4 annually) to support brand presence, relationship-building, and market insight
  • Partner cross-functionally with product and internal teams to share customer feedback, inform product improvements, and identify new product opportunities
  • Drive acquisition of new customers through webinars, demos, outbound efforts, and targeted strategic initiatives
  • Ensure effective adoption and utilization of sales enablement tools (including HubSpot, FINTRX, and Sales Navigator) to support intelligent outreach, data-driven decision-making, and a healthy pipeline
  • Maintain alignment, momentum, and accountability across the Sales Team through ongoing communication and leadership presence
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and retention efforts to build and sustain a high-performing sales team
  • Lead or support testing and rollout of system updates that impact Sales Team workflows and effectiveness

Why Quest CE?

Join the forefront of regulatory technology innovation at Quest CE, where we specialize in simplifying state and federal compliance for C-level leaders in the financial services sector, including broker-dealers and investment advisory firms regulated by FINRA and the SEC.

We're not just keeping pace with industry evolution, we're setting the standard. If you thrive in dynamic environments driven by innovation, this is your opportunity to lead the charge. Join a fun, growing team in a hybrid role that gives you the best of both worlds: the flexibility to work from home and the option to enjoy our beautiful office space on Milwaukeeโ€™s western edge, offering city access without the downtown parking hassle.

Weโ€™re proud to be nationally and locally recognized as one of the โ€œBest and Brightest Companies to Work For.โ€ Our inviting culture fosters collaboration, innovation, and motivates team members to take on meaningful work every day. We also offer excellent benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a Health Savings Account, 401K, career growth and professional development opportunities, tuition reimbursement, and a sustainable work-life balance.

Quest CE is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to creating a workplace where all individuals are treated with respect and consideration. Employment decisions are made without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected status in accordance with applicable laws.

Requirements:

Required Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline; equivalent experience will be considered
  • Five or more years of experience in a B2B sales role, including inside sales experience
  • Demonstrated success coaching or leading sales teams to achieve KPIs and revenue goals
  • Strong experience with territory management, ICP development, sales metrics, and performance reporting
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills

This role is ideal for someone who:

  • Has personally succeeded in a quota-carrying sales role and can model best practices for others

  • Takes ownership of revenue performance and proactively identifies opportunities for improvement
  • Is passionate about coaching, developing talent, and building a culture of high performance
