Job Summary:
Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is a leading company in the Healthcare Industry, currently seeking a Senior UNIX Production Support Engineer. The role involves providing production support for enterprise applications, troubleshooting UNIX/Linux issues, and developing shell scripts, among other responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 production support for enterprise applications.
• Troubleshoot production issues across UNIX/Linux environments.
• Develop and maintain Korn Shell (KSH) and Shell scripts.
• Support enterprise batch processing and AutoSys job scheduling.
• Configure and support FTP, SFTP, Connect, and XCOM file transfers.
• Perform SQL queries for troubleshooting and reporting.
• Support SAP batch integrations and enterprise applications.
• Monitor application performance and resolve production incidents.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, database, and network teams.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and SOPs.
• Participate in production deployments and system configuration.
• Identify root causes and implement permanent solutions.
