Job description

Health Coach / Fitness Navigator

Fitometry Health Club is redefining how people experience health and wellness. We don’t just provide a place to work out—we create energy, accountability, and real, lasting change. Our mission is to help every member become the best version of themselves through engagement, consistency, and a high-performance community.

We are looking for a driven, high-energy people-first individual to drive engagement, accountability, and meaningful behavior change. You must be passionate about making a real impact in people’s lives—not surface-level change, but transformation that sticks.

This is not a personal training role. You won’t be coaching workouts—you’ll be the force behind the member’s consistency. The motivator. The accountability partner. The one who ensures they follow through—whether that requires encouragement or tough love.

This role is built on relentless follow-up, behavior change, and driving action. You’ll use principles like Motivational Interviewing to help members understand their behaviors—and more importantly, change them.

This is a high-touch, high-interaction role. If you thrive on energy, conversations, and pushing people to level up—you’ll thrive here.

This role is about results—not intentions. Your job is to make sure members don’t just say “I will”… they actually do.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and accountability partner for members
  • Drive engagement through high-energy conversations, messaging, and structured check-ins
  • Track participation weekly to identify gaps, trends, and opportunities for improvement
  • Identify behavioral barriers (sleep, stress, habits, discipline) and replace them with high-performance routines
  • Guide members toward clear, outcome-driven plans with defined goals and action steps
  • Deliver tough love when needed—no excuses, just results
  • Re-engage disengaged members and rebuild momentum fast
  • Track progress using data and behavioral trends; adjust strategies aggressively when needed
  • Identify and correct gaps in habits, routines, and consistency
  • Create and share content, tips, and guidance to elevate the entire member base
  • Connect members to Fitometry services by clearly communicating value and driving action

What Success Looks Like

  • High member engagement and retention
  • Strong adherence to habits and accountability plans
  • Members achieving real, sustainable lifestyle change
  • Reduced inconsistency and dropout behavior
  • A visible, contagious energy that elevates the entire Fitometry community
  • Members not only improve—but start to genuinely enjoy the process

Who You Are

  • High-energy, outgoing, and confident—you bring the energy, you don’t wait for it
  • Passionate about changing lives, not just checking boxes
  • Relentless about follow-up—you don’t let people fall off
  • Naturally holds people accountable—you don’t accept excuses
  • Comfortable delivering tough love with purpose and respect
  • Strong communicator who thrives on constant interaction
  • Organized and disciplined with time management and follow-through
  • Able to manage a high volume of conversations without losing quality
  • Deep passion for health, wellness, and behavior change
  • Experience in coaching, client success, or engagement roles preferred

This Role Is NOT For You If

  • You are shy, reserved, or uncomfortable initiating conversations
  • You prefer independent or behind-the-scenes work
  • You avoid difficult conversations or struggle to hold people accountable
  • You lack urgency, consistency, or follow-through
  • You are looking for a passive, low-energy environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in personal training, wellness coaching, psychology, or behavioral science
  • Experience with Motivational Interviewing or behavior change coaching
  • Certifications such as:
    • NBHWC (National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach)
    • ACE Behavior Change Specialist
  • Experience in client success, coaching, or high-touch engagement roles
  • Strong understanding of lifestyle-driven health outcomes

base + commission + bonuses = annual earnings from $40- $70k
