DESCRIPTION
ACE Hardware Night Store Manager
Position Summary:
The Night Store Manager at ACE Hardware is responsible for helping overseeing all day-to-day operations of the store to ensure an exceptional customer experience, maximize sales, and maintain high operational standards. This leadership role requires a hands-on manager who can effectively guide a team, drive results, and uphold the values of the ACE brand.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Store Manage in overall store operations, staffing, and merchandising to ensure company standards are met.
  • Lead, train, and motivate a team to provide outstanding customer service and achieve performance goals.
  • Maintain in-stock conditions, product displays, and store cleanliness.
  • Ensure proper inventory control and perform regular audits and ordering.
  • Drive sales through strategic planning, promotional execution, and by analyzing sales data.
  • Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain compliance with safety regulations and ACE policies.
  • When needed will help create and manage employee schedules with open availability in mind to support business needs.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of retail management experience, preferably in a hardware or home improvement environment.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop a team.
  • Strong understanding of retail sales, inventory management, and customer service practices.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work all days and be flexible to scheduling needs. Including weekends, evenings, and holidays (open availability required).
  • Proficient in POS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Must have an open and flexable schedule. As the job title indicates this involves mostly night shifts ending around 8pm.
  • Must have a knowledge base that will support you leading a hardware store.
