A Craftsman is a professional who is well-rounded in several trades and can consistently, effectively, and efficiently perform on-site home repairs and consultations. Working with the Office Manager, Craftsman will set expectations with the customer and meet or exceed those expectations by consistently delivering a superior home improvement experience. Our Craftsman are the face of Ace Handyman Services!
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Review jobs daily and call customers the evening before their schedule job
Using the Dispatch.me Field App, manage day-to-day assignments
Deliver the Ace Handyman Services brand standards in person by following the Service Path
Annotate jobs, produce correct invoices, and accept payments at job conclusion
Using handyman knowledge, increase the scope of work prior to or during jobs
Shop for job materials
Marketing Ace Handyman Services when appropriate (i.e. distributing Ace Handyman Services materials to potential/existing customers)
Job Requirements and Qualifications
Own a standard set of tools
Own a car, truck, or van for traveling to jobs (possess a valid driver's license)A minimum of 1 year of handyman/carpentry experiencePossess some or all of the following skills: carpentry, tiling, painting, drywalling, light plumbing and electricalAbility to effectively communicate with customers and co-workersResidence within 25 miles of Savannah
Up to 30% travel time in and around Savannah between jobsProfessional appearancePass a background check and random drug testing
Work ConditionsMonday through Friday 8am - 5pm Craftsman will spend 8-9 hours/shift on their feet
Working indoors and outdoors
Compensation: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour

They are skilled and experienced in many trades, but their professionalism and attention to detail is what sets them apart from others who work in the industry.
Most of the projects completed are for Repeat and Referral Customers-folks truly appreciate our high level of service, and they often request additional work by asking for particular Craftsmen by name.
