Job Overview
Priority Wire and Cable is currently in need of self-starters who can quickly contribute and complement our team! This position is an entry level inside sales role with no previous industry experience required. This role provides on the job training program, fantastic benefits and the opportunity to develop both professionally and personally while you learn and grow!
Duties & Responsibilities:
Some of your duties may include:
  • Manage pricing based on local market levels, inventory availability, and overhead costs to maximize profits and customer service
  • Manage customer price sheets if applicable
  • Work in conjunction with manufacturers' reps and regional sales people to grow business
  • Evaluate customer needs to determine appropriate products or alternatives to meet job or project requirements
  • Coordinate marketing activities with major distributors, including marketing or other programs or promos
  • Coordinate new customer set-up process
  • Collect data needed by accounts receivable to establish lines of credit
  • Determine appropriate line based on estimated volume
  • Handle customer complaints including product quality, freight claims, pricing, etc
  • Enter quotes and orders into computer system

Qualifications and Essential Functions:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Understanding of MS Office
  • Detail oriented
  • Open minded self-starter with the ability to adapt, improvise and problem solve
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a close-knit office environment
  • Commercial experience understanding, such as cost analysis, internal and external benchmarking, market trend analysis, competitor pricing
