Accounts Payable Associate
Location: Grand Island, NE
Hours: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
Pay: Up to $22.00 per hour, based on experience

Credit Management Services, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Associate to join our Accounting Department. This position plays an important role in accurately processing invoices and payments, maintaining vendor information, and supporting the day-to-day functions of our Accounting Department.

What You'll Do
As an Accounts Payable Associate, you will:
  • Process invoices and payments after obtaining required approvals.
  • Match invoices with receiving documents and purchase orders.
  • Accurately enter and maintain accounts payable information.
  • Work with Microsoft Excel and Acumatica; previous experience with Acumatica or similar accounting software is a plus.
  • Obtain and maintain appropriate vendor tax documentation, including W-9 forms.
  • Review invoices to ensure appropriate sales and use tax is applied.
  • Maintain organized and accurate accounts payable records and documentation.
  • Assist with additional accounting and bookkeeping duties as assigned.

  • Associate degree in Accounting or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
  • One year of bookkeeping, accounting, accounts payable, or related experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent keyboarding and 10-key data entry skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
