Accounting Specialist

The Accounting Specialist performs tasks related to accounting, clerical, and administrative duties. As the Accounting Specialist you are a member of the Accounting team! You will work closely with the Director of Administration to complete financial reports, invoicing for accounts payable, follow up for accounts receivable, and complete daily bookkeeping duties. The Accounting Specialist will be in daily contact with customers, contractors, management, and executives. Accounting Specialist job responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing monthly billing for accuracy
  • Follow up with late payments
  • Meet with management on collection needs
  • Accurately enter data into the system
  • Keeping communication with management for various tasks
  • Help create procedures for accuracy and timeliness for billing and AR
  • Sort and match invoices with purchase orders and post accordingly
  • Help complete reports
  • Prep weekly AP checks for signature
  • Run reports for review
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Accounting Specialist job requirements include:
