We are looking for an Accounting Specialist to support day-to-day financial operations for a growing team in Hyattsville, Maryland. This role focuses on maintaining accurate records, processing transactions efficiently, and helping ensure timely payment and billing activity. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, hands-on accounting support experience, and confidence working with QuickBooks in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:

• Process vendor bills and employee reimbursement requests with accuracy and timely follow-through

• Prepare and issue customer invoices while monitoring account activity to support prompt collections

• Record financial transactions and maintain organized accounting data for reporting and audit readiness

• Reconcile accounts, investigate discrepancies, and resolve payment or billing issues efficiently

• Enter high volumes of financial information into accounting systems while preserving data accuracy

• Use QuickBooks to update records, track transactions, and assist with routine bookkeeping functions

• Communicate with internal teams, vendors, and customers regarding invoice status, payments, and account questions
