Job description


A local management company is seeking a Bookkeeper to work Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct reconciliation of all accounts on an as needed basis
  • Maintain and balance the general ledger in an accurate, complete, and up-to-date manner
  • Reviewing, coding, and process accounts payable payments
  • Invoice, deposits, collections, and revenue recognition
  • Prepare financial reports through collection, analysis, and summarization of data
  • Interpret and apply accounting policies, rules, and regulations to all work in order to ensure compliance with applicable standards
  • Assist with preparation for audits, help organize workflow, verify accuracy of work, and file all accounting records
  • Maintain the financial records of all entities using Accounting Software, Microsoft Word, and Excel
  • Cross train with Accounts Payable to assist with payable entry, check runs, and analysis as needed
  • Perform special projects and other duties as requested

Job Requirements
Job Qualifications:
  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Must have at least 3 to 5 years relevant experience in Accounting and Bookkeeping
  • Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger is required
  • Must have thorough knowledge and understanding of GAAP
  • Must be proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
  • Must have the ability to operate calculator, computer, and other general office equipment
  • Must have basic organization, analytical, and prioritization skills
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to pay a high attention to detail while performing several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism
  • Must have the ability to keep matters strictly confidential
