Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Specialist to support our growing operations. This role will manage day-to-day accounting functions, with a strong focus on QuickBooks Online and Shopify integration, ensuring accurate financial reporting, clean data flow, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Accounting & Financial Management •\tManage daily accounting activities within QuickBooks Online •\tRecord and reconcile bank, credit card, and expense transactions •\tMaintain accurate general ledger and chart of accounts •\tProcess accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R) •\tGenerate invoices and track incoming payments •\tAssist in monthly and year-end financial close E-commerce & Systems Integration •\tReconcile Shopify sales, fees, refunds, and payouts to QuickBooks •\tEnsure accurate mapping of Shopify data into financial records •\tMonitor and resolve discrepancies between platforms •\tSupport reporting across multiple sales channels and programs Reporting & Analysis •\tPrepare weekly and monthly financial reports •\tTrack cost of goods sold (COGS) across multi-step manufacturing processes •\tAssist in margin analysis by product line, program, and customer •\tSupport cash flow tracking and forecasting Operational Support •\tWork closely with internal teams (sales, operations, fulfillment) •\tAssist in tracking purchase orders, inventory, and incoming shipments •\tMaintain organized digital records and documentation •\tIdentify process improvements for efficiency and accuracy Qualifications •\t2–5+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience •\tStrong proficiency in QuickBooks Online •\tExperience working with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms •\tSolid understanding of A/P, A/R, and general accounting principles •\tExperience with inventory and COGS tracking preferred •\tHigh attention to detail and strong organizational skills •\tProficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets •\tStrong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally Preferred Experience •\tExperience in product-based, manufacturing, or e-commerce businesses •\tFamiliarity with multi-channel sales and fulfillment operations •\tExperience with sales tax tracking and reporting tools Compensation & Structure •\tFull-Time •\tCompetitive hourly or salary based on experience •\tOpportunity to grow within a fast-moving, entrepreneurial company Why Join Already Design Co.
