The Accounting Assistant is responsible for maintaining A/P and A/R on a daily basis.
Duties:
·        Review all invoices, code correctly then enter into bill.com.
·        Review and Code credit card receipts in QuickBooks online.
·        Process employee expense reports and travel reimbursements.
·        Match invoice with packing slip and purchase orders for store.
·        Enter or receive store merchandise into Shopify.
·        Enter inventory/Price adjustments and transfers into Shopify.
·        Post monthly sale items in Shopify.
·        Back up to Store Manager entering new merchandise, pricing and discount codes.
·        Maintain vendor files.
·        Reconcile credit card statements in QuickBooks online.
·        Maintain petty cash.
·        Enter daily journal entries for sales and payments received.
·        Run batch report and reconcile all payments in Shopify and AMS system weekly.
·        Prepare bank deposits.
·        Track marketing meeting revenue and expense weekly.
·        Run month end reports in Shopify, AMS system and Square.
·        Update month-end worksheets and enter journal entries.
·        Prepare copies of financial reports for Board meetings.
·        Maintain accounts payable records for audit purposes.
·        Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts.
·        Assist Accounting Manager in any necessary tasks or projects.
·        Act as the primary backup for the accounting manager.
·        Other duties as assigned by management.
