Job description

What We Do
Rillet serves accounting and finance teams-the financial brains of their companies. Our job is to help them run the numbers with impossible speed, accuracy, and insight.
Rillet is the AI-native ERP that middle-market and enterprise companies trust for revenue recognition, multi-entity consolidation, and investor reporting. To enable real-time finance and a continuous close, Rillet rebuilt the general ledger from the ground up for the AI era. Rillet serves companies from Series A through the public markets, including Mercor, Scribe, and Function Health, and is a certified partner of top accounting firms like EY and KPMG.
This huge market is ours to take. We have raised $100M+ from leading investors, including Sequoia, a16z, Iconiq, Oak HC/FT, and First Round, to help everyone run their numbers at the speed of AI.
Who We Are
Rillet's pace is not for everyone. Intelligence is table stakes. To succeed here, you need extreme speed, agency, and flexibility.
The people who thrive at Rillet do not wait for assignments. They internalize the mission, design a strategy, and bring back results that are better, faster, and more creative than a manager could have asked for.
Our work revolves around our customers. The people who succeed here are energized by delivering what matters most, even when it was not part of the original plan.
Rillet is built on deep accounting expertise, and it takes people from many disciplines to build a category-defining company. You do not need to be an accountant to thrive here. You do need to care deeply about the problems we solve and the impact our customers can create. Together, we combine the precision of accounting with the speed, creativity, and ambition of AI-native software to power the financial core of the world's fastest-growing companies while redefining what finance teams should expect from their software.
Who We Need
Rillet seeks a versatile and driven Business Operations Associate to join our team. In this role, you'll work directly with the founders and Chief of Staff, supporting high-impact initiatives across Go-to-Market (GTM), Revenue Operations (RevOps), HR, and Finance. This is a unique opportunity for a generalist who thrives in fast-paced environments and is eager to gain broad, cross-functional exposure at a category-defining startup.
We're looking for teammates who are based near our New York City or San Francisco offices, or open to relocating. Our hybrid schedule brings the team together in person on Tuesdays and Thursdays, plus one additional flexible day each week. Some roles may spend more time in the office depending on the needs of the team.
What You'll Do
  • Drive execution on key initiatives, ensuring efficient and timely project delivery.
  • Tackle operational challenges to help Rillet meet company-wide goals.
  • Own and manage daily operations across HR, finance, and administrative functions.
  • Design, implement, and improve scalable processes to support organizational growth.
  • Take ownership of high-impact initiatives from day one, such as: Preparing the investor report, identifying high-priority prospects, and setting up outbound sales sequences.
  • Selecting and onboarding new vendors.
  • Project managing the implementation of new CRM features with external consultants.
Who We're Looking For
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in a Management Consulting firm, preferably from MBB or experience in a venture capital, private equity.
  • Previous Business Operations experience.
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and a natural problem-solver.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong attention to detail.
  • Proven track record of taking initiative, navigating ambiguity, and delivering measurable results.
  • Action-oriented with a bias toward execution-you move quickly, take ownership, and aren't afraid to pitch in beyond your core responsibilities.
  • Willingness to travel a few times yearly for team offsites, events, and gatherings.
Life at Rillet
  • Grow with us. Take meaningful ownership, expand your scope, and make an impact as Rillet scales.
  • Competitive pay and meaningful equity. Be rewarded for the value you help create.
  • Benefits that support you. We offer medical and dental coverage, including up to 100% of employee premiums and 90% of dependent premiums, along with a 401(k), flexible PTO, nine company-wide holidays, and paid parental leave for eligible employees.
  • Better together. We're hybrid-first, with teams centered in New York City and San Francisco, as well as select remote roles. Our offices are stocked with snacks, we regularly provide lunch and dinner, and we make time to connect as a team.
