Bowers Internship Summary:

Committed to attracting, developing, and retaining the best people across our firm and business service groups. Bowers Accountants Advisors is looking for highly motivated, collaborative, and results-oriented interns who thrive in a fast-paced environment to join our team for Summer 2027!

Responsibilities

  • Familiarity and ability to learn accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize efficiently

  • Ability and willingness to maintain confidentiality

  • Become familiar with and effectively utilize software for Auditing

  • Communicate status updates to managers/supervisors as needed

Key Objectives

  • Approach daily responsibilities with the Bowers’ mission and client-centric philosophy in mind.

  • Learn the audit process: information gathering, client follow-up, preparation, and completion.

  • Develop the ability to identify, understand, and address accounting issues.

  • Strengthen written and verbal communication skills with clients and colleagues

  • Participate in firm outings and activities as able.

Qualifications

  • Active enrollment and a major in Accounting, Business, or Finance (Junior standing or above is preferred)

  • Interest in pursuing a career in public accounting

  • Interested in meeting the college requirement towards CPA eligibility

  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Schedule:

  • Part-time- Seasonal Internship - Minimum of 10 hours a week
