Job description

We are looking to immediately fill an open part-time entry level accounting position. In this role, you would be responsible for assisting the Finance and Accounting department across a variety of entry-level tasks.

Hours: Wednesday & Friday 9am-1pm

The Role’s Potential Responsibilities Include:

  • Preparing, reviewing and organizing deposits for bank transport
  • Opening and sorting mail
  • Providing team support via email and internal messaging systems
  • Assisting with departmental administrative tasks as needed


Qualifications:

  • 0-2+ years accounting / bookkeeping experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining a high attention to detail
  • Capacity to work independently as well as part of a team with flexibility and willingness to learn
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office


Work Environment:

You would be open and able to work in-office at our headquarters in Manhasset, NY to facilitate training and the handling of received checks.
