Here in North Charleston, SC, Mercedes-Benz Vans, LLC is writing an exciting chapter in Daimler's history as we add the first U.S. van production plant for the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, in addition to our existing assembly operation for Sprinter and METRIS vans.  Our slogan is "Vans. Responsibilities:
Mercedes-Benz Vans is looking for a Finance/Accounting intern. The applicant filling this position will handle a wide range of important duties.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Internal controls implementation and verification
  • Support Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
  • Assist in preparation of presentations
  • Support the payment processing team
  • Documentation of training materials
  • Complete special projects as needed
  • Other duties may be assigned
Qualifications: 
Applicants should be Business, Finance, Economics or Accounting majors in pursuit of their Bachelor's or Master's Degree or having graduated within the past 12 months.
 
Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task and excellent communication skills are all essential to this position.
 
Opportunities:
Learn or improve the German language; cultural exchange with German interns.
