The Business Support Specialist plays a key role as part of the commercial team providing support to our internal and external customers. The Business Support Specialist works directly with our clients, region sales managers, quality and accounting team members and production team members in the areas of planning and transportation. Clients and business partners for this role are predominately located in both English and Spanish-speaking countries and regions.

Duties include:
  • Manage geographic territory assigned while maintaining excellent relationships with internal/external customers. Set operational protocols with Region Sales Managers, communicates order/production/customer updates and maintain records for customer accounts.
  • Conduct customer order/purchase order review and systems entry SAP order entry, Inventory review, distribute customer order acknowledgements, maintain proactive customer communication pertaining to order entry, review ordering patterns to support planning/production efficiency, utilize lead time reports and maintain customer master data.
  • Maintain and distribute inventory reports as required while advising customer/sales manager of inventory position.
  • Order tracking and communication providing status updates through working with production planning team members.
  • Track shipments (truck, ocean, air) assess customer risks/needs and make necessary recommendations if needed.
  • Reviews customer credit status and works with sales managers to communicate status with customers
  • Makes recommendations as appropriate to refine/enhance operational processes, utilizes support systems such as SAP, MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word.
  • Maintains up to date customer information, attends additional training as needed and provides team member backup coverage as designated.

Applicants should possess the following qualifications:

  • Business proficiency in English and Spanish, including speaking, reading, and writing, required.
  • B.S./B.A. degree in business; candidates in related field may be considered.
  • Experience in sales, sales operations, customer service, business operations.
  • Working knowledge of SAP.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint); strong hands-on spreadsheet and database comprehension.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, films industry preferred.
