This role is responsible for overseeing financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, and internal controls, with a strong emphasis on affordable housing regulations and funding structures. Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and monthly closePrepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAPManage financial reporting for multiple properties, entities, and funding sources (e.g., LIHTC, HUD, and other subsidies)Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, lender agreements, and investor reporting standardsLead annual audits and coordinate with external auditors and tax preparersDevelop and maintain internal controls and financial policiesSupport budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planningPartner with asset management and development teams to analyze project performanceSupervise and mentor accounting staff QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA strongly preferred)5-10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership roleExperience in affordable housing, real estate, or property management accounting strongly preferredFamiliarity with LIHTC, HUD programs, and multi-entity accounting structuresStrong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standardsProficiency in accounting software Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skillsCRM Rental Management, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Must be able to pass a 7-year background check.
