Tenstorrent is looking for a motivated Accounting Intern to join our Finance team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining accounting fundamentals with data analytics, automation, and process improvement. You will gain hands-on experience supporting accounting operations while exploring how technology and AI can improve efficiency in a fast-paced technology environment.

This role is onsite, based in our Santa Clara, CA office.

Who You Are

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Passionate about combining accounting, data analytics, and technology to solve business challenges.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and comfortable working with large data sets.
  • Proficient in Excel; experience with SQL or other data analysis tools is a plus.

What We Need

  • Analyze accounting data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities to improve processes.
  • Leverage AI and automation tools to streamline recurring workflows, including reconciliations, reporting, and journal entry preparation.
  • Support fixed asset tracking, depreciation schedules, reconciliation accuracy, month-end close activities, and other accounting projects.
  • Partner with Accounting and Finance teams to document, optimize, and improve operational workflows.
