Pannos is looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and collaborative Accountant to help keep our financial operations running smoothly.


In this role, you will manage day-to-day accounting activities, maintain accurate financial records, and support month-end and year-end close processes. You will also contribute to budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and process improvements that help the agency operate more efficiently.

What You'll Do

Manage day-to-day accounting operations

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Manage billing, payments, and receipts
  • Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation
  • Monitor cash flow and assist with cash management
  • Communicate with vendors and clients to resolve payment questions or discrepancies

Support reporting, compliance, and planning

  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Provide financial data and analysis as needed
  • Help ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
  • Gather and provide documentation requested by external auditors
  • Maintain organized digital and paper financial records

Help us work smarter

  • Identify and recommend improvements to accounting processes
  • Help implement changes that increase accuracy and efficiency
  • Perform additional accounting and finance responsibilities as assigned

From time to time, this position will also provide front desk coverage when the Office Administrator is unavailable, including greeting visitors, answering calls, and responding to general office inquiries.
