Cutter's Edge is searching for an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and support financial reporting, close processes, internal controls, and team development. This role partners closely with operational leadership to ensure accurate financials, process consistency, and strong business support across a fast-paced environment. Our Accounting Manager is a full-time, in-office position Mon-Fri. Reporting to the Director of Accounting, this ideal candidate is a hands-on accounting professional seeking long-term growth with a dynamic and growing organization
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead daily accounting operations including general ledger, reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, accruals, and month-end close
  • Prepare and review financial statements, reporting packages, and variance analysis
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow visibility, and operational financial review
  • Maintain compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate audit support and assist with tax, fixed asset, and compliance-related activities
  • Supervise and develop accounting staff while improving processes and reporting efficiency
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations and leadership teams to support business objectives
  • Other responsonsibilities as needed

Qualifications:
  • 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a multi-location or service-based environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is ideal
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience required
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, accrual accounting, and internal controls
  • Advanced Excel skills and ERP/accounting system experience required
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to travel to branch locations in south Florida
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
