We are a growing licensed CPA firm in Clinton Twp, MI. We partner with our clients to solve their complex business accounting challenges. Our firm is looking for a new dedicated accounting professional to join our team. You will participate in accounting and consulting for privately owned businesses and individuals in a wide range of industries.

We are currently seeking a motivated, career-oriented self-starter with 5+ years of recent public accounting experience for tax & accounting engagements for small to mid-size privately-held businesses & individuals.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
  • develop and cultivate professional client relationships while developing and analyzing their unique requirements
  • Prepare financial statements
  • Create new processes to improve financial efficiency
  • Report analysis and findings to management team
  • Complete complex tax planning

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree Accounting
  • 5+ years of recent public accounting experience
  • Previous experience in accounting or other related fields
  • Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
  • Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools
  • Detail and deadline-oriented
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Experience with QuickBooks, Accounting Solutions and MS Office a plus
