We are looking for an Accountant to join our team!

Purpose

The Accountant is an important team member supporting the Accounting department, which is essential for achieving the dual mission of Full Circle Health. The Accountant shall be accountable for record keeping and financial reporting processes, preparing and processing cash deposits, and reconciliation of accounts. The Accountant is a critical position within the Accounting department, which is essential for achieving the dual mission of Full Circle Health.

The Accountant works closely with the Controller, Senior Accountant, and Senior Accounts Payables Administrator.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Process and record cash receipts, deposits, and other routine financial transactions; in addition to transporting daily deposits to the bank on a regular basis.
  • Prepare and record recurring and non-recurring journal entries in support of the monthly close process.
  • Oversee payroll processing for the organization and ensure the outsource team is staying on task.
  • Perform monthly reconciliation of assigned balance sheet accounts and supporting schedules.
  • Research and resolve routine variances or discrepancies within assigned general ledger accounts.
  • Support the Controller and Senior Accountant with month-end processes, audits, and special projects.
  • Assist in ensuring financial data is accurate, timely, and compliant with established accounting standards.

Education:

Experience:

  • 2 years minimum (5 years preferred) in accounting or finance related areas.
