Your responsibilities will include processing accounts payable, vendor invoices, bank reconciliations, and assisting with month-end closing.

Job Responsibilities
  • Daily Accounts Payable Processing, invoice matching, obtaining and verifying proper approvals & coding, and daily entry in Quick Books โ€“ Stampli knowledge a plus
  • Process vendor invoices and enter new suppliers in Quick Books, run checks and ensure timely payment to vendors
  • Assist in researching invoices and correcting discrepancies
  • Able to keep all A/P files organized and up-to-date
  • Full cycle accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Assist with Month-end closing
  • Ensure bank reconciliations for multiple locations
  • Assist in Fleet Management
  • Order Fuel cards, Assign drivers, cancel termed employees and manage the renewal of vehicle tags and transfers
  • Create Vendor database for payables and 1099 compliance
  • Assist with audits as needed
  • Assist the Controller with related issues
Education
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in accounting required
  • 2 + years of experience
Job Requirements
  • Excellent phone and customer service skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of Quick Books required
  • 10 key by touch
  • Proficiency in computer software including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Proven leadership capabilities and able to multi-task
