Examples of Duties
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
โ€ข Perform account analyses.
โ€ข Conduct comprehensive reconciliations and prepares the required journal entries.
โ€ข Prepare various internal and external financial reports and surveys.
โ€ข Adhere to month-end and year-end close-out timelines.
โ€ข Assist with the preparation of Annual Financial Statements.
โ€ข Assess processes and make recommendations to enhance operations efficiency and effectiveness.
โ€ข Assist with drafting policies and procedures.
โ€ข Understand and utilize the Ellucian Banner Finance module to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness in the operations of the unit.
โ€ข Troubleshoot system issue.
โ€ข Perform other duties as assigned.
Typical Qualifications
Minimum Position Requirements (including certifications, licenses, etc.):
โ€ข A bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
