Job Description

Experienced with US and Canadian operations Responsible for timely and accurate completion of monthly close reports and completion of monthly journal entries Responsible for monthly account reconciliations Assist with monthly preparation of written commentary for the executive management group explaining the results of US and Canadian operations in comparison to current and prior year budget Assist applicable departments with accurate accounting for the following company accounts; insurance accounts, liabilities regarding geological drilling projects and costs and various accrual accounts Responsible for assisting with timely and accurate maintenance , preparation and issuance of plant and corporate cost statements, including the review of monthly cost statements to ensure the accuracy of ongoing production Assist with the year end audit, preparation of audited financial statements, and related footnote, including footnote requirements
