Forensic Accountant / Financial Analytics Lead
Customer Operations / Global Services - Remote (North America Hours)
Position Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and strategic Forensic Accountant / Financial Analytics Lead to support financial forecasting, cost analysis, and forward-looking planning across customer operations. This role blends forensic accounting, data analytics, and operational insight to uncover trends, assess risk, and provide visibility into future financial performance.
The successful candidate will help shift financial management from reactive reporting to proactive, data-driven decision-making across projects and program portfolios. This position requires the ability to work North America business hours while collaborating effectively with global teams.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct forensic reviews of financial data to detect discrepancies, cost drivers, and margin exposure
  • Build and maintain forecasting models for revenue, expenses, and profitability
  • Deliver forward-looking insights to support strategic and operational decisions
  • Develop and enhance cost allocation approaches across regions and programs
  • Partner with Finance, PMO, and Operations teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency
  • Create dashboards and visual reporting tools (e.g., Power BI) for leadership stakeholders
  • Integrate and analyze data from multiple systems to provide a comprehensive financial view
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to drive financial strategy and performance improvements
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
  • At least 7 years of experience in financial analysis, forensic accounting, or FP&A
  • Strong background in financial modeling, forecasting, and cost analysis
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience working with large and complex datasets
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with forensic accounting or financial investigations
  • Exposure to data science concepts or statistical analysis
  • Working knowledge of tools such as Python, R, SQL, or Power BI
