Job description

This role is based at our Corporate Office in Menomonee Falls, WI. You'll work onsite from Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.

About the Role

As an Accountant, you will support the company’s financial reporting and accounting processes by ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions and compliance with accounting standards. You will contribute to the month-end close process, perform account analysis, and partner with cross-functional teams to support business operations and financial integrity.

 

What You’ll Do

 
  • Prepare SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, Proxy, etc.), ensuring accurate and timely reporting and offering best practice suggestions

  • Record journal entries and support the month-end close process to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting

  • Prepare and maintain account reconciliations, investigating and resolving variances

  • Review transactions and contracts to determine appropriate accounting treatment in accordance with U.S. GAAP

  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation

  • Support internal and external reporting requirements, including audit requests and compliance activities

  • Perform data analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement

  • Collaborate with business partners to ensure accurate financial data and understanding of accounting impacts

  • Support SOX compliance efforts, including documentation and validation of key controls

  • Assist with continuous improvement of accounting processes, systems, and reporting

  • Additional tasks may be assigned

 

What Skills You Have

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or other relevant field

  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience with technical accounting

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and other Financial Software programs

  • Excellent accounting skills

  • Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, time management and communication skills

  • Adept multitasker

  • Prior accounting or finance experience
