We are seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Client Onboarding Associate to join our Managed Accounts Team. This role is responsible for facilitating the onboarding of managed account relationships, supporting portfolio model implementation, and servicing client accounts across portfolio management platforms. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, an analytical mindset, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to financial advisors and clients. The Client Onboarding Associate serves as a key liaison between advisors, clients, custodians, and internal departments to ensure a seamless onboarding experience and ongoing account maintenance.

  • Coordinate the onboarding of managed account relationships from account opening through funding and implementation.
  • Review account documentation for completeness and accuracy, ensuring compliance with firm and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist advisors and internal partners with account setup, releasing accounts to invest, and account maintenance requests.
  • Assist with the creation, maintenance, and implementation of investment models within portfolio management systems.
  • Process account maintenance requests, trade holds, cash raises, model changes, and other service-related transactions.
  • Support advisors with portfolio management system inquiries and account servicing needs.
  • Research and resolve account discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in wealth management, investment advisory services, financial services, or account administration.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience supporting managed accounts or advisory platforms.
  • Knowledge of portfolio management systems such as Envestnet, Advyzon, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with investment models, portfolio construction concepts, and account management processes.
  • Understanding of brokerage and advisory account operations.

This onsite entry level role in Birmingham, AL offers compensation typical for entry-level financial services positions in the region. Relocation will not be provided for this position.
