What does an account sales rep do?

An Account Sales Representative is responsible for managing relationships with existing clients and generating new business opportunities. They identify customer needs, present products or services, negotiate contracts, and ensure customer satisfaction. Their role often involves meeting sales targets, attending meetings or trade shows, and collaborating with other departments to fulfill client requests. Account Sales Reps play a crucial part in maintaining and growing a company's client base.

How does an account sales rep typically collaborate with other departments to achieve sales targets?

Account Sales Reps frequently work alongside marketing, customer service, and product teams to ensure customer needs are met and sales goals are achieved. They may coordinate with marketing for promotional campaigns, rely on customer service for post-sale support, and communicate feedback to product teams for improvements.
